Not all creative ideas become effective solutions. It seems that a whale washed up on a beach in Florida. But all efforts to save it failed. Then they had to decide what to do with this dead whale carcass. Nobody wanted it or knew what to do with it. Someone decided, for some reason, that it was a Highway Department problem and that they should clean it up. The Highway Department took on the job in a most creative way. Don’t ask me why, but they decided that their best course of action would be to blow it up. Word got out, and people showed up from miles around to watch. Do you remember the old adage, “What goes up must come down.” Well, the whale was blown up, and bits and parts rained down on the crowds, the surrounding home, and the cars. How do you explain to your insurance agent that the dents in your car are from a whale?…
