REARRANGE THE MANGER SCENE
The December 1991 issue of Guidepost tells of a mother who allowed her two young boys help her arrange the nativity scene on her coffee table. Her boys kept placing the characters of the manger scene in such a way that only their backs could be seen. The boys’ mother would patiently replace the characters to a more aesthetically position. But the boys would later return the characters inward toward the middle of the table. The mother finally lost patience, and challenged her boys, “Why do you keep messing up the manger scene?” The boys defended themselves: “But Mom, the way you put them, no one can see Jesus.” As we approach the manger scene, let us turn our eyes toward Jesus.
