BED-TIME FOR INTENTIONS
I have some good intentions that go in and out with me; And what I ever have them for is more than I can see; For they show just what I’m made of from my heels up to my head. And at night they jump before me when I’m lying in my bed. But this morning I’ll get busy and do each one in turn; The sick I meant to visit — the scripture I should learn; The unanswered letter. Oh me! I’m still half dead, Guess I’ll take my good intentions and jump right back into bed.
