GOD’S CHRISTMAS LIST
Just having come through the Christmas season, I am again reminded of the want list children share with Santa Claus. As they sit on his lap, some want small things, others large things, while others request things that have a lot of thought in what they ask for. I think of the time of Pharaoh of Egypt, at which time they had a large number of gods and goddesses, who were to take care of their every need. It was during this period of time that Moses was on the backside of the desert taking care of sheep. God speaks to him out of the burning bush. During the conversation Moses asks God what he is to tell the people of Israel when they ask who sent him? God’s reply is, “I AM THAT I AM, has sent you.” He is the all knowing, every where present and all powerful God, who is able to meet our every need–but not necessarily…
