DO WHAT HE TELLS YOU
In a speech at Lausanne II in Manila, Luis Palau said that Mary gave a one-line sermon to the attendants at the wedding feast who ran out of wine: “Do whatever he tells you” (John 2:5). That is what Jesus was telling the rich young ruler. We all need that one-line sermon stamped on our morning coffee cups. We need to be reminded that, to find meaning, purpose, and peace, we must keep on asking ourselves, “What is Jesus telling me to do with my life?” From Money is Everything, by Herb Miller
