STILL IN PRISON
Last week we had a little excitement in Beech Island. We came from Prayer Meeting to discover road blocks, helicopters, and deputies everywhere, Travis Mace, an escaped inmate from Aiken County Detention Center, had wrecked a car in our neighborhood. For three days over two hundred officers combed our community hunting for Travis. He was captured on Saturday when a neighbor returned from vacation and found him hiding under a table. My Thought: Travis escaped the detention center to seek freedom and found none. Isn’t that a lot like us, until we discover that in Jesus we have real freedom.
