GOD’S GREAT BIG HUG
Dolly from the Family Circus comic is reading the Bible to her two brothers, Billy and P. J. and she says, “Heaven is a great big hug that lasts forever.” How true. God reaches out to both the living and the dead. God draws the faithful who have died into his presence and hugs life back into them. And the living who remain here mourning the loss of a loved one God draws close to his heart and hugs them full of the comfort and hope of the resurrection and life eternal.
