INFECTED FILES OF OUR LIVES
My computer contracted a virus last week. It affected many files and I had to download Norton Anti-Virus to get rid of it. Once the computer had been scanned by Norton, I got one of those “Duh” boxes. It stated that 27,000 files were scanned and 527 files were affected by the virus. Then it asked me the “Duh” question . . . Do you want us to clean the infected files? Of course I answered “Yes,” and the files were cleaned. This is exactly what happens to us in the arena of sin in our lives. We ask God to search us and find the sin in us, and when He does, the “Duh” box appears in our minds, but we either state Yes, No or we avoid the issue by not acknowledging the SIN as the threat. Even when we click on Yes, we later deliberately reinfect the files and allow them to be infected until life…
