PARENTING WITH GRACE & GLORY
God knows our weakness. He is aware of our sin. And he has given us glorious gifts of grace so that we can be his tools of change in our children’s lives. We cannot give in to discouragement and hopelessness. Christ gives us reason for hope; hope that we can be effective and productive as we parent our teenagers. The gifts of grace that he gives turn weak and failing sinners into effective and productive children of the almighty God. We can hold to his high goals with hope as we look at parenting through the lens of his grace and glory. From Age of Opportunity, A Biblical Guide to Parenting Teens, by Paul David Tripp, published by Presbyterian and Reformed Publishing Company, Phillipsburg, New Jersey, p. 105
