THANKSGIVING IN AMERICA
It is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to Thy name O most high; to declare Thy loving kindness in the morning, and Thy faithfulness by night. Psalm 92:1 & 2 When living in New Zealand, a country with no official thanksgiving day, I realized how privileged we are in the United States, to rest from normal work, to pause to be thankful. For me it is thrilling to witness so much gratitude directed to God, for numberless blessings and mercies. From “Two Thanksgivings,” by Chaplain Bill Hard
