Christ | Christmas | Forgiveness | Grace | Incarnation | Salvation

CHRISTMAS TIME
The rich merchant clad in purple and fine linen, occupying the choicest suite….stiffening and refusing to give up his room. The proud Pharisee with his braided tunic and sumptuous quarters when asked to give up his gilded room where he sits reading the torah for the expectant Mary. The busy harlot who had no time to interrupt her trade to allow the birth of a child in her dark back room. No room in the inn because there was no room in their hearts. What a contrast to Jairus whose funeral dirge over his daughter was changed to a resurrection anthem…or Zacchaeus who let him in with sounds of thanksgiving or Saul of Tarsus who shouted, THERE IS THEREFORE NO CONDEMNATION FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRIST JESUS. Or Mary Magdalene who gave up her past.
