ON A SHAKY LIMB
I shall never forget a classroom setting that occurred about twenty-five years ago. As usual, I was in the front row. One of the toughest professors in graduate school tossed out a question. Eager and over zealous, I jumped in prematurely. He let me continue until it was obvious that my position was growing thinner by the second.
