KNOWING BUT NOT DOING
Dr. Charles L. Allen, once wrote about a man who was nearly seventy years old and yet a student at Columbia University. The fact is, he had spent upwards of fifty years as a student there. His father had stipulated in his will that his son was to receive a certain amount of money as long as he was a student in college. So the man just stayed in school, taking every course that was offered. He learned a lot about many things and gained a number of degrees. In fact, he was probably one of the most knowledgeable men of his day, but was he a success? Hardly! He was shallow! He failed to bear any fruit. His trivial experiences in the classroom failed to result in any positive activity!
