BURDENED WITH PIE
Tad is sitting and watching television when his mother calls from the other room, “Tad, would you…?” Tad interrupts in an explosion of irritation. “ME? Why do I have to do everything? Just when the good part comes on TV you call me! It’s not fair, Mom!” With a frown on her face, Mom finishes her sentence, “. . . like to have a piece of the pie I just baked?” Tad sits there in total embarrassment.
