ACCEPTING DISCIPLINE
My dad often used to comment that “the same sun that melts wax hardens clay.” In the same way, discipline from the Lord produces in some people a sweetness and a maturity; but in others, bitterness and regression. The reason is simply that those who accept the pruning, produce; and those who reject it grow sour grapes that set everyone’s teeth on edge.
