OVERTIME BRAIN
In Jack Elrod’s comic strip, “The Ryatts,” Winky, the youngest boy, comes into the kitchen for breakfast rubbing his eyes as if he was having a hard time waking up. Mom asks: “Are you still sleepy, Winky?” Winky, with his eyes drooping and his head held in his hands, says: “Uh-uh… I’m just tired! God must have forgotten to turn my brain off last night.”
