EVANGELISM FOR SKEPTICS
Ed Young, pastor of 2nd Baptist Church of Houston, Texas and author of A Challenge to Examine Christianity writes: “To believe in Christ certainly requires the exercise of a person’s faith–but reason and fact combine to create a tremendous foundation on which that edifice of faith may be erected.” Young provides four key concepts in which to secure belief: 1) The existence of God; 2) The deity of Christ; 3) The reliability of the Bible; 4) The authenticity of Jesus’ resurrection. From “Effective Evangelism–An Appeal to an Open-Minded Skeptic,” by Ed Young, adapted by Michael Hodgin
