KEEP THE FAITH
William Stammer from Baltimore, hid his $1200.00 savings in an old pair of shoes. It was safe from burglars, but not from himself. Without thinking, he threw the shoes in the trash and didn’t realize his error until after the sanitation workers carted them away. But, after a frantic two-hour search through the contents of a city trash truck the retired schoolteacher located both shoes and recovered all of his money.
