FOUND SOMEONE ELSE
A minister told about a function he attended at his church. His wife was not able to attend. During the function, he struck up a conversation with a woman who was attending the church for the first time. As they talked, they learned that the woman had a great deal in common with his own wife: same background, birthplace and interests. The minister told the woman he would be sure to mention this to his wife. At the end of the function, as the woman was preparing to leave, she turned to the minister on the other side of the room and spoke so all could hear, “Be sure to tell your wife that you have found someone else.” Adapted from a submission by C.
