FRESH TOMORROW
I stopped in a bake shop at closing time and ordered a batch of sugar cookies. The young clerk politely said she couldn’t sell them because they were frozen. “Frozen?” “Yes,” she replied, “We bake the cookies, freeze them and later put them into the display case to defrost.
