HERDING SNAILS
A woman was hosting a fancy luncheon at her beach home. She was looking forward to this social event and wanted everything to be just right. Shortly before her guests were to arrive, she remembered that she had planned to go to the beach and gather some snails as one of the appetizers. She asked her ten-year-old son if he would help his mother and run down to the beach and get some snails for Mommy. The boy did not want to go, but his mother insisted. So the boy took the pail his mother handed him and ran down to the beach. The boy began to gather snails and started to enjoy the search. In fact, the boy was enjoying the search a little too much.
