BIG BIRD GRANDMA
Tommy came over to see Grandma a few days after her birthday. He was surprised to see that her face was all scratched up. He sincerely asked, “Grandma, what happened to your face?” Grandma answered, “Well Tommy, remember that nice little bird call you gave me for my birthday? It works well.” Tommy continued, “But what does that have to do with these cuts and scratches?” “I went out in the yard yesterday to try out your little bird call,” Grandma explained. “I blew into the whistle, and then it happened.” “Birds landed on your face?” Tommy anticipated. “No,” answered Grandma. “I was attacked by two of the neighbor’s cats.” Nice whistle, Grandma!
