LOST DOG
We have seen several versions of this story in the past and have finally gotten around to using one of them. It’s a great illustration on mistaken identities. Every Sunday afternoon, the family went for a drive out in the country after lunch and a nap. On one such country drive, they were about six miles onto a gravel road. There was nothing for miles around except for a small hill with a little dirt road ascending the top of the hill. As they drove by this desolate dirt road, they passed a dog that seemed lost and disoriented. But the dog seemed friendly. The family discussed their options and concluded that they could not just leave the lost dog. They backed up to the dirt road and compassionately allowed the dog into the car.
