THE PROBLEM WITH EVANGELISM
Calvin Miller remembers calling on a rather large lady. In fact she was so large he wasn’t sure whether they had built her trailer house around her, or she had been born in it! When he entered the door she was sitting there eating a can of cherry pie filling. He remembers he had a hard time concentrating on winning her to the Lord. On the one hand, he wanted to see her come to Christ. On the other hand, he was afraid if she did, he would have to baptize her. Adapted from Leadership, Spring, 1983
