SIN SHOWS
Two bank robbers were sentenced to 24 years in prison in Pittsburgh last January, convictions made possible by clear photography from the bank’s surveillance camera. The pair did not wear masks and seemed unconcerned about the camera at all. It seems they had rubbed lemon juice over their faces beforehand in the belief that the substance would blur their on-camera images. They were no more foolish than anybody else who thinks they can get away with sin. Adapted from Peacemakers’ Journal, 1996
