ONGOING PROPHECY
A skeptical American dropped in a coin and out of the speaker of this inventive Japanese device came the following announcement: “You are an American. You are 5’10” tall. You weigh 150 pounds and you are booked on flight 408 to Los Angeles, California. “The man was totally incredulous. He was sure someone was playing a practical joke on him. So he slipped into a rest room, changed his clothes, put on a different coat, and pulled his hat over his ears so it hid his face. Hobbling like a shrunken old man, the American stepped onto the machine, dropped in his dime, and waited for the announcement. It wasn’t long in coming. “You are an American. You are 5″10″ tall. You weigh 150 pounds, and while you were changing clothes, your plane left for Los Angeles.”
