My brother-in- law came for a visit last week. His father had worked as a dentist for years before he died. When the family went through his safe deposit box, they found several bags of old teeth, filled or capped with gold. His father had often paid his patients for the old teeth and then put them away in his box. Now usually when people have their teeth pulled, it is because the tooth is bad or rotten. These teeth were evidence of that fact. They looked awful and ugly. But my brother-in-law knew that the gold would be valuable so he made some contacts and found a company that would buy them. They were told that the tooth would be broken off and the gold would be refined with high heat and then tested to determine the value.
