WHERE’S THE SOAP?
We rarely run an illustration more than once — or at least we try not to! Every month we run a computer check to find out if we have used an illustration before. We usually find four or five per issue, and we replace them with new illustrations. This illustration was flagged as one that was used in the November, 1983 issue of Parables, Etc. That’s a long time ago, a different publication, and still a great illustration. So here we go with a “rare” repeat! In some parts of Mexico, hot springs and cold springs are found side by side. Because of the convenience of this natural phenomenon, the women often bring their laundry and boil their clothes in the hot springs and then rinse them in the cold ones.
