THE FATHER PACE
Like race cars and the orchestra, a family needs someone to set the pace and the tempo. When the pace has been properly fixed, the pace car gets out of the way; so does an effective father. When the tempo has been set and the soloist steps into the spotlight, the conductor gives the cue to perform; so does the father. Without the pace car or the conductor, you have confusion.
