CHURCH IN THE BAHAMAS
For our fifteenth wedding anniversary, my wife and I went to the Bahamas. We stayed in an expensive beach- front resort hotel. It was a wonderful time, but I was quite aware of the power that money held over so many people and the emptiness of trying to find happiness that way. My heart yearned for the presence of the Lord and the joy of worshipping Him. So we prayed that the Lord would direct us to a good church. And on Sunday we looked for a place to worship. We had gone to a travel presentation when we first arrived, and the lady who spoke to us was a Christian. She told us about her church, called Evangelistic Temple. It sounded inviting.
