THANKS FOR THE LIGHTER
There are times that there will be a price to pay for offering assistance. In his magic-comedy show, the “Amazing Jonathan” asks the audience if anyone has a Bic lighter. A woman in the audience holds up her lighter, and the comedian-magician asks her to throw it onto the stage. She does so, and he picks it up and shows the crowd. He then picks up a large jar of Bic lighters, drops the woman’s lighter into the jar, and says, “It’s almost full now.” What a magic trick; he made the woman’s lighter disappear! By Michael Hodgin
