THE POSITION OF THE DRAWBACK
The little boy’s first grade teacher asked him, “What position does your older brother play on the football team?” The boy thought for a moment and proudly answered, “I’m not real sure what it’s called, but I think he’s a drawback.” Perhaps too many of us are willing to settle for that position in our jobs, in our churches, in our families, in our relationships. It’s not enough to just be on the team; we need to also find a position of valuable service.
