JESUS, SAVIOR, PILOT ME
A few months ago there was an awful, scary airline accident. I’m sure you heard about it and saw the pictures on TV: the Aloha Airplane in Hawaii, when metal fatigue and corrosion caused the whole top of the plane to suddenly rip off and leave the passengers there at 24,000 feet in their decompressurized plane, frightened out of their wits, flying for 15 minutes like that until they could make an emergency landing. One of the flight attendants was killed, sucked out of the plane into the ocean below. One passenger later told how he was holding on to a lady next to him who was hanging half out of the plane. The only thing that saved those passengers on that flight was the protection of almighty God and a very talented, clear thinking pilot and flight crew that miraculously brought the plane to a safe landing.
