THE WAY OUT IS THROUGH
An illustration to follow up on Parables Etc., August, 1995, page two: This past week — the week of August 20, 1995 — a commuter airplane lost an engine and went down in a field in Georgia. You no doubt heard about it on the news. I caught a brief interview of one of the passengers who survived that crash. He said that the survivor also realized that they had to get out of the aircraft. But they were trapped behind a wall of fire between them and the exit. To get out and live, he said, he told his fellow passengers that they had to go through that fire.
