OUR TRUE PURPOSE
My son Ryan took a ski class at the University of Northern Colorado that required him to go skiing in Winter Park, Colorado on December 5 and 6, 1998. Tough assignment! My son asked if I would go skiing with him this weekend. Tough paternal responsibility! To go skiing with my son, I had to miss church in Greeley, Colorado. Since my son had to attend a ski class on Sunday morning, I decided at the last minute to attend a nearby church prior to the hotel’s check out time. I looked in the phone book and found a church a few miles away that had a 9 AM worship service. December 6, 1998 was an interesting Sunday in Fraser, Colorado.
