DOES GOD BELIEVE IN US?
After church one day a pastor overheard a little girl who was in a rather theological mood ask her mother, “Mommy, does God believe in us?” The first time I read that I laughed. But the more I’ve thought about it, the more serious the question has become. DOES God believe in us? God created us. God sustains us. God has entrusted us with the care of the world. So, you can affirm that God believes in us. God believes in us so much, that he sent his only son to die on the cross for our sake.
