BECOMING HOLY
Macrina Wiederkehr writes, “If we become holy, meaning whole and mature in Christ…we will be impelled to speak out against injustice. Do you still want to be holy? I blush at my silence in the face of so much injustice in our world. Every time I get this fierce longing (to be holy)…I see the cross off in the distance & I step back a bit. How can I say that I want to be a saint, yet want so little to with the cross?”
