A farmer was out working in his fields when along came a tired-looking man. “Where you headed, friend?” the farmer called out. The startled man looked up with a frown and answered the farmer: “I’m headed to the next town. What are the people like in the next town?” “What were the people like in the town you just left?” the farmer asked. “They were rude and unkind. I was glad to leave them,” the man answered.
