NEW MAN — REVISED
It’s easier to mope than to cope,
to grovel that to grow
to weep than to work,
to whine than to win,
to passively hurt than to actively heal,
to walk away than to walk through,
to sit than to stand,
to whimper than to walk,
to retreat than to run,
to be unfaithful than to keep promises.
By Mark Russel, from Promise Keepers magazine, poem edited and shortened for pulpit delivery
