MARRIAGE PROBLEMS
In handling problems in the marriage, we tend to revert to: 1. Open Warfare, which oftentimes leads to more trouble and/or divorce. 2. A state of Cold War, which again only eventually leads on to more and more trouble–and divorce. 3. Withdrawal, where one turns his or her anger inward on self and ceases to talk, love or grow. More trouble (physical, emotional, etc.) is on down the road– and possibly, divorce. 4. Total Submission, where one gives up to avoid a problem and in time develops resentment, bitterness, and anger due to not being able to ever express his or her own self. 5. Then there is Compromise and Adjustment, submission and love BONDED FOR MUTUAL GOOD– MUTUAL GROWTH! This takes communication, caring, a desire to make things go. It’s two becoming one — in time! It’s give and take. It’s 100%, 100%. It’s saying that there’s a better, more mature way than divorce!Source unknown
