IT’S A CREEK!
We had lived in the country and farmlands of central California ever since our first son was born. On the occasion of visiting Grandma, we would have the opportunity to show our three children the Pacific Ocean. Coming to the last hill that hid this vast body of water from our view, I excitedly told them they would get to see something on the other side. As we crested the hill, there it was, spreading out widely, beautifully before us. Before anything else could be said, I asked, “What is it?” My eldest son, in great excitement and astonishment screamed, “It’s a creek!” Sometimes I think we see God’s power at work and underestimate his love and ability in similar measure.
