GOD EMBRACED HIS CHURCH
Kosuke Koyama wrote concerning the account of the waiting father in Luke 15 and the story of the church’s beginning. Koyama wrote about our God who runs toward us, disrupting the expected order: “As the believers were gathered and wafting, God ran toward them again, rushing so fast that it was like a mighty wind. God came unexpectedly and created out of them a church, a group that witnessed to the love of the resurrected Christ in a way that could reach all creation, because they were inspired by the God of Creation.”
