THE FINAL MISSIONS FRONTIERS
Some of the basic truths of missions are presented by James Long of CB International: The love of God encircles the globe; The commission of Christ embraces all nations; The invitation of the Spirit extends to all people; The task is not finished until the final frontiers have been reached with the gospel. But, Long continues, there are two discrepancies with the way the evangelical community is responding to these basic truths: 1) only three percent of all full-time Christian workers are targeting cross-cultural missions, and 2) most of the these three percent are reaching those who have already been reached. From “The Challenge of the Final Frontiers,” by James Long, in Impact, a Publication of Conservative Baptists International, Volume 58, Number 1
