FLY HIGH
In the early days of aviation there was a pioneer flier by the name of Handley Paige. One of his long flights was to India, where he landed on a field in a meadow. After he had rested awhile, he came back to his plane and took off. He had only been flying for a little while when he heard a gnawing sound in back of him. He realized instantly what had happened. While on the ground, a rat had gotten onto his plane. Paige fearfully listened as the rat gnawed away at the workings of the plane. He feared that the rat would disable the workings of his lightweight plane and cause the plane to crash. Paige recalled that rats can only live in low altitudes.
