THE POWER OF GOD
The point is, all creation, all nature is an outstretched finger pointing to God–the omnipotent almighty God. What cannot be done according to the nature of things, the laws, rules and natural course, may be done by the God of Nature who is above these laws and cannot be bound by them. We know that He once stopped the sun and made it stand still, while on another occasion He commanded it to move backwards ten degrees in the sky. He defied gravity by making an ax head to float. He protected the three Hebrew children in the fiery furnace, and He kept Daniel safe while in a den of lions. He made the Red Sea stand and salute. Jesus boldly declared that God could raise up children of Abraham out of the stones that cluttered the ground should He choose to (Romans 4:17).
