DAD’S FAVORITE BEDTIME STORIES
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall. Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. All the king’s horses and all the king’s men had scrambled eggs for breakfast. Once upon a time there was a boy named Jack who traded a cow for some beans and grew a beanstalk that was so big a giant almost ate him. So he cut down the beanstalk. And they all lived happily ever after – except for the giant. OK, one last story. Once upon a time, something happened. Then everybody lived happily ever after. Now go to sleep! Taken from Dads Say The Dumbest Things, by Bruce Lansky and K. L. Jones, published by Meadowbrook Press, Deephaven, Minnesota, 1989
