TOO MUCH PRAISE & WORSHIP
Regarding emotional worship: “You don’t like emotional display? Then tell the father of the just-returned prodigal son in Luke 15 to calm down. The celebration and singing are unnecessary! Tell the just-healed lame man in Acts 3 to get control of himself. Leaping and jumping in the temple are irreverent. Tell King David in Second Samuel 6 to quit putting on that ridiculous public show: dancing, twirling, spinning, making an absolute fool of himself. That’s undignified for a king.” From Michael L. Brown in Holy Fire
