LOOKING FOR LOOPHOLES
W. C. Fields, the famous (or infamous) cynical comedian was reported to have been very critical of religion. One day a close friend walked in to his dressing room on the movie set and found him reading the Bible. The friend was shocked and surprised and asked him what he was doing. Ever the comedian, Fields replied: “I’m looking for loopholes.”
