SYMBIOSIS
The relationship between the termite and the protozoa is a good example of what is known as symbiosis. Symbiosis is a partnership between two organisms who join together for mutual benefit. The dictionary says that symbiosis is “the living together in intimate association of two dissimilar animals, plants, or and animal and plant in an association advantageous, or often necessary to one or both. . .” Symbiosis is a beautiful illustration of the church. In the body of believers we should have members living together in a mutual sharing situation. From Insect Parables by Robert J. Baker, Herald Press, 1976
