EMOTIONAL TRAP
There is an old story that tells how to catch a monkey in the jungle. You take a hollowed-out gourd and put some choice nuts and berries inside. Leave a hole in the gourd that is barely big enough for the monkey to squeeze its paw through. Tie the gourd to a tree limb and wait. Soon a monkey will notice the gourd that holds the tempting goodies. The monkey will reach inside the gourd and fill its fist with the food. However, with its fist clenched, it won’t be able to pull its paw out of the gourd because the opening is too small. Rather than dropping the food and slipping its paw out, the monkey will hold on tightly to its captured goods. It will jump up and down and go into a screaming rage, but will not let go of the food. Since the gourd is tied to a tree limb, the hunter can simply walk behind the monkey…
